Question 1

How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

For holiday treats, order straight from our Holiday Shop: add your items to the cart and send your order request (order by December 5). For everything else, including custom cakes, desserts, gifts and events, use the Inquire page to tell us what you'd like and when you need it. There's no payment up front. We'll confirm availability and send a secure Square invoice by email, and your order is confirmed once that invoice is paid.

Question 2

How far in advance do I need to order?

Accepted Answer

Standard orders require 7 days' notice. Orders placed with less than 7 days' notice may be accepted, subject to availability, with a 35% rush fee. We cannot accept orders with less than 24 hours' notice.

Question 3

Do you take custom orders for weddings, showers, or corporate events?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Visit our Custom & Events page, share your date, guest count, and flavor wishlist, and we'll put together a quote. You can also download our La Fête (corporate & wedding) and Favor menus right from that page.

Question 4

What allergens are in your kitchen?

Accepted Answer

Our kitchen bakes with wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts (including almonds, cashews, and coconut), and every item is prepared in a shared space that handles these allergens. Some items also contain alcohol (rum). We're not able to guarantee any item is completely allergen-free, so please reach out before ordering if you have a food allergy or sensitivity.

Question 5

Do you deliver locally, or ship nationwide?

Accepted Answer

Both! We offer free local pickup in Willingboro, NJ and local delivery within about 10 miles ($15–$25). Pickup and local delivery orders have a $150 minimum. We also ship nationwide for individual and corporate orders. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Question 6

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

All orders are placed through our order request form. Once we confirm availability, you'll receive a Square invoice by email — your order is confirmed once that invoice is paid. We do not accept cash or payment at pickup.

Question 7

Can I cancel or change my order?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final. Orders may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, let us know within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and we'll make it right.

Question 8

Can you accommodate special flavor requests or dietary needs?

Accepted Answer

We're happy to talk through custom flavor requests for larger or custom orders. Because our kitchen handles common allergens, we can't guarantee any item is fully free of wheat, dairy, eggs, or tree nuts — reach out and we'll do our best to work with you.

Question 9

Do you offer gift cards?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can find our gift cards on the Home page — reach out at info@brownbuttah.com if you'd like to arrange one.

Question 10

How can I get in touch?

Accepted Answer

Email us anytime at info@brownbuttah.com, follow along on Instagram, or use the inquiry link on our Custom & Events page.
